I am rather new to the "World of Silhouette SD", so I was pleasantly surprised to find out about a company called My Vinyl Designer. It is SO amazing!!

Basically, this is a software that makes Wall Art UBER easy. Sa-weet! They sell collections of already-designed wall art so that you can choose which designs you want and just cut 'em out.

I love my Silhouette more every day.

Crayon Roll Giveaway

I just LOVE a quiet day, don't you? I mean, they are so infrequent in my house! I enjoy them so much when they do happen.

We are having one of those quiet days today...mainly because it's a holiday.  My house is full of good smells...turkey, mainly, and my hot crab dip (to tide us over until the BIG dinner). I did most of my cooking and baking yesterday so that I could really enjoy our time together today.

One of the things I really enjoy doing on a quiet day is blog surfing. I love to see the wonderful ideas that people have, and I also love to learn about new products and possible gift ideas. You are so creative, People!

I must admit to being a "bump on the log" ever since dh left yesterday morning. I just needed some time to "adjust" to him being gone and to catch up on "blog land". Stuff from Japan! (Update 2/21--We Won!)

I just love homeschooling my kids! We learn so much and in so many different ways!

One of my favorite things about homeschooling is the diversity of learning. I love that we can really enjoy learning about new things, that we can take time (and we have time!) to read stories, try cultural foods, do crafts, etc. pertaining to whatever subject that we are currently covering.

I came across a blog today that fits perfectly with what we have been learning lately...Japan! And...would you believe it...they even have a giveaway!!! NO WAY!

How fun! My kids would love this stuff! It would be so fun to actually use some things from Japan, to be able to experience a little of the culture of a country we have been studying.

Gaddy Nipper Crayons Giveaway Ends Mar 9

Oh my goodness! These are the cutest crayons!

I found this giveaway here.  It is for the lego crayons above. Aren't they cute?? 

I went to Gaddy Nipper Crayons Etsy shop, and they have crayons that spell names!! They sell them in packages by the name, which seems to me to be the perfect gift for any child! I am always looking for something fun that still requires brain waves (makes the child think!), and these fit the bill! How fun!

They also have these crayons called "Lollies" that would be PERFECT for a child's birthday party favor! I looked at the ones for the 5th birthday, and they come in a set of 6 for $6.95. What a great favor idea. They also have them for baby showers/favors. Cute!

I just love this Etsy shop--can you tell? (I would heart them if I could figure out how to! lol) You have to check it out!!

Every weekend, Cass has a giveaway! Today's giveaway is really a great one--handmade soaps from Inner Earth Soap.

I love handmade soap! My friend makes soap, and I have purchased some from her. I also recently have been given a bar of handmade soap from another friend. Heavenly!

Unless I use handmade soap, my skin gets SO dry and scaly in the winter. So handmade soap has become a staple at our house. I would love to try some different scents, so I'm hoping I'll win! lol
